Whether time or money, there is a cost associated with getting a customer to buy. It is your job as a small business owner to determine and measure how much it will cost you to convince your customer to buy your product or service.
We call this measurement the Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC). To determine the CAC or what it will cost to convince the customer, you will first need to identify who your customer is. It will be tough to target a customer and not know who the customer will be.
You will not only will you need to know who the customer is but also how long will it take them to buy based on your business sales model.
